  1. Climate Change, Hydro-conflicts and Human Security (CLICO)

The project is investigating whether hydro-climatic hazards such as droughts and floods exacerbate social tensions, intra- and inter-state conflicts in the Mediterranean, Middle East and Sahel, or if they provide a catalyst for cooperation and peace.

  2. West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL)

This project is a large-scale research-focused programme initiated to develop effective adaptation and mitigation measures to climate change.
